Launched in 2021, the Unmanageable Giving Circle provides relief for artists in order to advance their art-making. Every dollar donated goes directly to artists. No overhead, no strings attached. The Unmanageable Giving Circle’s ongoing fundraising efforts have yielded more than $300,000 in direct individual support and mutual aid for artist mothers. During the spring of 2026, the Unmanageable Giving Circle launched a Mutual Aid Fund.

As a multi-organ transplant recipient, Daisy creates work that explores the intersections of tradition, intimacy, embodiment, and disability. HOW TO BE A SLUT WITHOUT DYING comes from an intimate experience in Daisy’s own life. The film is a call for change, not only about the deep-rooted ableism within the medical system, but about the painful lengths disabled people often go to to be seen as desirable.
